Days 1, 2, and 3

Athletes are introduced to the coaching staff, learn how to properly warm-up, and split into small groups that rotate through 4 different event areas.  Here they are instructed in long distance running, discus, high jump, pole vault, sprinting, hurdling, shot put, javelin, and long jump.  Athletes then learn how to properly cool down.

Days 4 & 5

DECATHLON COMPETITION!  On these days, athletes experience the joy of doing their best at all 10 events.  Coaches run the competition, but also help and encourage the athletes, too!  Athlets complete the first 5 events on Day 4, and then come back for 5 more events on Day 5.  The events conclude with the ever-so-grueling 1600m, and after the points are tallied, our camp ends with an uplifting awards ceremony!
